Trve kvlt and all that shit!

The vocals reminds me a bit of Marblebog for some reason.
It keeps me well entertained all the way through and has an awesome atmosphere

Too distorted?

I liked it, but it felt pretty empty, and the guitar only being present in the left channel was a bit annoying.
It could be a lot more sloppy'n'shitty'ier though :)

metalheadmarch responds:

it's a rough draft, every time i'd play through the song id mess up and/or come up with something new every time.. i thought it was far from completion, but i posted anyways. next time this song may have vocals and better mixing!

'sup Norway. It was okay

The guitars seem a little low in the mix, but that might just be me. And I liked the synths

Arkaft responds:

Thank you! I agree actually :P And it would be cool with vocals too... But I cant do screaming or growling :P

I've grown very fond of this sincere obscurity.

So fragile, intricate and beautiful shrouded in obscurity.

Insanctuary responds:

Thankyou. It will be a long, but short & sweet series.

Awesome cover!

This is indeed one badass song, good choice.
Althrough the sound isn't as crisp as the original, it is definitely a worthy cover!
I haven't got much more to say. This just fucking awesome.

GraveDigger87 responds:

Thanks man! Yeah i listened to ours and the original back to back and theirs has more treble in it or something, crisp is definitely a good descriptor of the difference. It was cool to do this Darkthrone song because i learned something about what Fenriz means when hes talking about organic, natural, and dynamic sound. Like for both programming the drums and playing the guitar riffs i started to see that for this song it's more important to think about how you play rather than what you play. I'v thought about that before but it really stood out in this song. I noticed it a bit with Ace of Spades; however i never notice it when i play Burzum songs, surprisingly. I usually consider Burzum to be really organic too but my normal way of playing seems to work with it. But for this song i had to sort of think about things differently. Anyway, thanks for the review man!

The energy really pulls you in. Badass!

The ending was pretty fucking awesome, so was the rest of the song.
It makes me think of war axes and crushed skulls.
Really well done GraveDiggerNeil. I just realized I haven't got any of your songs on my new PC. So i'll go ahead and download the whole bunch

GraveDigger87 responds:

Cool man thanks! I'm really happy with the solo i think it's one of my better ones.

His vocals works pretty well with this style

Holy fucking shit man!
Not only do the intro riff kick more ass than I ever saw, but the whole song is so fucking good!
You two are doing a brilliant job

GraveDigger87 responds:

Thanks man! I'm really happy with the way this one turned out, thanks for the review!

Epic riffs

Powerful stuff!
This is now my new favourite GraveDigger track.
The riffs are perfect, and the vocals are quite nice too
5/5

GraveDigger87 responds:

Thanks man! I love the riffs too!

The lead is very soothing, good job Doomdude

I now imagine this theme everytime I fantasize about striding on the back of my swordwielding firesquirrel, across the vastness of space.

Piedoom0 responds:

Swordwielding Firesquirrels aren't as good as Axe-killing Oxen, but better than Fire killing celery. Good point.

I on the other hand do live it!

Nice to see some new material from you man!
The riffs and atmosphere are awesome. Well worth the wait.
Good job

- Wheres the first episode?

GraveDigger87 responds:

Ahh thanks man good to hear! The first episode takes place on Phobos; then the third takes place directly in Hell! Then the fourth on Earth along with Doom II.

I don't necessarily plan on making a song for each episode or anything, but it could happen. I was just playing Doom at the time so it was on my mind and i was really enjoying the 2nd episode. My friend John and i have always wanted to make a Doom themed album, we've been talking about that since we where in like grade 10 or something. I suppose we don't want to taint the mighty Doom with our amateurish skills just yet... hahahaha.

I dabble
