This is sweet.
I love the melodies and the atmosphere, but synth that starts around 20 seconds in sounds a little too thin if that makes any sense, but that aside I love this.

BOATMAN responds:

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this! I was trying to go for a kind of empty, expansive feeling, which probably doesn't make much sense either. I was inspired by Flatland, which I haven't read yet, but the way the world was described to me made me think it would sound like this.

Estpierre's review made me laugh.
Pleasant ambient, with nice melodies and a good atmosphere :)

It's a pretty simple track, but for a first track, this isn't at all bad, and the melody is cute

As for feedback, I think the drums could use some eq'ing, they seem far too bassy, and loud, compared to the synths. And probably some melodical variation too.

Good luck on your musical endeavours :)

Haha towards the end, it's like Dan Deacon swimming in whipped cream in zero gravity.
I wasn't too excited about the drums in the beginning, but they grew on me, as the melody and the tale unfolded.

KKSlider60 responds:

Yeah, these new instruments are eargasming... *___*
Thanks buddy!

I think it has a better sound than the last piece, but as thedethbot stated, it's too short, even for a loop, and it doesn't loop perfectly.
But that aside it's got a very intriguing sound and atmosphere to it. I'd like to see your space ambience in a more complete track sometime, that'd be awesome.

But a very enjoyable loop as it is. Good job!

Atlas responds:

Thanks I guess after finishing up my current work, I'll gladly work on extending this and my other loop. Thanks for the review.

It loops pretty well, so I just had it running in the background for a while.
The atmosphere is very good, and spacy. There's really not much to say, it's a perfect little loop

Atlas responds:

I'm glad everyone likes this. Thanks for the review.

This is why I don't ride elevators.

The piece is very obviously very well made, and the melodies and theme is fun, teasing and relaxing.
It would propably make me buttfustrated, during a hard level of a game, but hah. Good job :)

MrtheNoronha responds:

Thanks, it's not mine actually lol, the song may not really fit the stage, but I like it : )

It's...LU BUUUU!!!

KKSlider60 responds:

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!

Very well done cover of a classic!
Love the riffs, and the solo turned out sweet. The drums seem to blend in better than on some of your earlier pieces

Always good to hear something new from you guys!

GraveDigger87 responds:

Thanks man! Yes i think the drums are getting better too; i think doing covers helps with the drum programming because you have the real drummer to compare to and you can be like, how is he getting that sound? I guess that would apply to all the instruments actually. Thanks for the review man!

Man I love this track - I've been listening to it quite a lot today.
The subtle synth/keys is a pretty nice touch, definitly adds some atmosphere. As always, some badass GraveDigger riffs and a pretty hypnotic composition. All the instruments sounds good, the bass seems a little low though, but it can be heard - it might also just be my headphones.

Mordamir sounds like a pretty badass person/place.

All my fives!

GraveDigger87 responds:

Thanks man! I was wondering if anyone would notice the keyboard if i didn't mention it in the commentary, so that's awesome.

I was thinking Mordamir is a wizard that has become trapped under his own spells and his reach is sort of his attempt to defeat/overcome himself and his own doings. But seen as how it's an instrumental song it's open to people seeing it however they want. Actually the name Mordamir comes from a video game called "The Immortal" (1991) in which he is trapped in a labyrinth and you have to rescue him. However i never really got to play the game because i can't get the controls working properly. So that has definitely had an influence on the title but i had the music all finished before i started thinking about the title, i just thought it suited the music. Haha, rant over.

Thanks for the review man!
